Cache Valley Area Investors Association is looking to educate investors

Logan, UTAH - Cache Valley Area Association has been around for two years with the goal of teaching people how to achieve financial independence. President Preston Parker said, “Financial independence is achieved when you increase passive income and decrease expenses … Most people who are wealthy in this world understand passive income. “

Parker wants people to be happy and to do jobs that they love and enjoy instead of doing jobs solely based on money.

In the organization there are 80 members on the e-mail list, 50 members on their facebook group and 10 active members that come to the meetings. Feel free to invite anyone.

Meetings are held every other Thursday. The next meeting will be held on Oct. 1 at Cache County Chamber of Commerce at 7 p.m. which is located on 160 N. Main St. Logan, UT. Guest speaker Justin Hamilton will be featured on October 29th at 7 p.m. Bring a piece of paper and pen to take notes there is no fee and you can stay as long as you want.

Parker also stated, “In five years you can become financially independent, but most people are not willing to put forth the effort … The first step starts at becoming literate.”

  1. Hey, Jeff!

Good draft! I would just go over it and make sure that you don't leave anything in colloquial language... there are some sentences that would be fine if you were saying it out loud, but are a awkward on paper. Don't forget to take out the word "you!"

Good job with quotes! You got farther than I did on mine....
